Quick Recipe - Cabbage & Egg Fried

Hello all,

Its been a long time I haven’t posting any recipe because I was concentrating on few of my other blogs. Now I’m back here with yet another tasty egg recipe which I tried last night.

It is quite good and tastes different too so I would like to share the recipe with you all today. Sorry for not uploading the recipe photo, I don’t have the camera at the time I was cooking.

Here we go.

Incredients

  • 2 Medium-sized Onions, Chopped
  • 1/2 lb Cabbage, Shredded
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Tomato Puree
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Soya Sauce
  • 3 tsp Vegetable Oil
  • Salt to Taste
  • Coriander Leaves

Recipe Method

  • Take fresh Cabbage, onions and finely slice into small pieces.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions until it turns golden brown.
  • Now add cabbage and cook it for 5 minutes.
  • Then add tomato puree, chilly powder, pepper and soya sauce and fry for another 2 minutes.
  • Beat the eggs and pour them into the fried cabbage with another tsp of vegetable oil and stir until the eggs and cabbage get mixed well.
  • Fry for further 2 minutes and finally garnish with coriander leaves (cilantro) and serve immediately.

Some Notes

  • No need to boil Cabbage.
  • Do not add water while cooking cabbage, let it be dry so that it can easily be fried in oil and set thoroughly with the eggs.
  • Reduce oil if you want it to be more crispy.

Try it out and leave your feedbacks :)

I will be back soon with another tasty recipe.

Take Care & Enjoy!

  • 2 Medium-sized Onions, Chopped
  • 1 Tomato, Sliced
  • 1 Red Chilly, Chopped
  • 2 Green Chillies, Chopped
  • 1 tsp Tomato Puree
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 3 tsp Ginger/Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp White Pepper
  • Coriander Leaves (Cilantro) for Garnishing
  • Salt to Taste
  • A Pinch of Turmeric

Recipe Method

  • Wash potatoes then half boil them and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in cooking pan, add chopped onions and cook until they turn golden brown.
  • Add red chilly, green chilies and fry then.
  • Add tomato with a tsp of tomato puree and keep mixing until tomotoes are cooked.
  • Add ginger/garlic paste and mix it up. This should smells good in your kitchen.
  • Now add the half boiled, dried potatoes (remove water completely) and fry until it mixes down with the paste.
  • Add turmeric, black/white pepper, chilli powder, garam masala and salt.
  • Mix again for 2-3 minutes until the masala gets coated with the potatoes.
  • Let it be heated for another 3-5 minutes without stirring it. This will make the potatoes to turn into roasted browny colour.
  • Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.

This recipe is simple yet totally delicious. When I cooked this, I gotta taste like a tandoori food since its not much oily. Whenever I make this recipe I make variations, like this time I added 3 pieces of sliced Paratha and mixed again. You can even try adding some chapatis or bread.

You can’t wait to taste it, right ?

Do try it and I hope you will like it.

Winter Tea

Incredients

  • Boneset

  • Echinacea

  • Peppermint

Recipe Method

Just use equal parts of each, or pre-made tea bags…3 bags, 1 of boneset,1 of echinacea, and 1 of peppermint. The echinacea works as an immune system builder, the boneset is great for congestion, aches and fever (the classic flu symptoms), and the peppermint aids with any stomach complaints due to drainage from the sinuses, and just works as a great overall “feel-good”.
